I´ll have to buy some groceries for my visitors.

I have been cleaning up the freezer and that has meant some food for Luna and some space for me. So soon enough I will go to a butcher´s shop for meat and will also finish my grocery list for next month´s food. In the list I already have Luna´s sac of dog food (more expensive than my luxuries) and the ice cream that I like best. How many times in a month do you buy food? Before the pandemia I went to the supermarket when I needed something. Now I only buy online.

I usually ask for groceries every other week. But now that is summer and I have more visitors, I need more food for them. I can eat almost anything when I´m alone but I like to make a nice meal for guests.

I go shopping every two weeks. Like you the pet food is very expensive here. Cat food is high in price.

Pet food is expensive here and I don´t dare give Luna food for human beings every day.

I usually go every week. Or whenever needed. Since I don't buy meat at the same store I get most of my groceries, I am usually at one, if not both stores each week.

@marguicha I find myself stopping more for essentials like bread and mild. Regular grocery shopping is down now and maybe every 2-3 weeks. With the cold, I don't like to be out in it long.

We normally go grocery shopping twice a month on the 4th and the 19th. Once in a while we need to make a quick trip for more bread.

For me, buying bread is very expensive. I ask for bread and add delicious and expensive things to the cart or the list.

@marguicha It depends on whether I go by myself or if Pretty goes to the store with me. If I go by myself, I come home with just the bread. If she goes with me, then we'll spend at least $100 before I can get her out of the store.

We walk to the shop so we go quite often or things would be too heavy to carry home.

I did that before the pandemia. But I walked with Leticia. I don´t dare walk alone. Now Martín is teaching me to walk again.

Looks like you are getting a good system going with cleaning up the freezer and making space for both of you! It is good that you are planning ahead before making your next shopping. It is amazing sometimes how pet food end up expensive more than our own luxuries. Guess, they are getting the best! I tend to buy food twice a month. I check the prices online and for ones which has better offer offline, I buy them and rest I get offline. I prefer vegetables and other food items offline as they will be fresher. Since the pandemic, I have also found myself buying more online. It has saved me money and time while making purchases at store. Guess a lot of people across world switched to online shopping out of necessity and now it has become a habit. Hope your visit to butcher’s shop goes smooth and you find everything you need. Enjoy the day!

I just called my friend Dixie and she might be able to take me to the butcher´s. There are some cuts that you don´t get at the supermarket.

I only buy online now. No other option for us at this time with health.

I do that too. I cannot walk to the supermarket even if it is 3 blocks away and it is more expensive if I ask for an Uber.

I only buy my groceries once or twice a month. My parents buy groceries once a week.
