I watched The Watchers. It is on Netflix. It is an Ishana Shyamalan movie. It's also based on a book by A.M. Shine. I haven't read the book, but I will be getting the audiobook soon. The movie has Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Olwen Fouéré, Oliver Finnegan, and John Lynch in it. Big Warning: there is some violence. Spoiler Below. In this movie, a woman named Mina is a pet store cashier. Her boss tells her to take some time off and she takes a parrot with her. Her car breaks down and she goes into the woods looking for some help. Only the woods are forbidden woods because no one ever leaves. She meets an older woman, a guy and another young woman. The old woman tells Mina that they need to go to the shed because the creatures come out at night. They have perform for the creatures too. Mina doesn't follow the rules and the creatures end up coming after them. They discover a bunker where they find out a professor built the bunker and shed. He caught one of the creatures. The creatures are "fairies," but they lost their wings. Mina finds out how to get out of the woods and they escape the woods. I liked this movie.
