I like this garage, because they don't charge much and are semi competent. However, as usual they fixed the main problem...and an other issue pops up..today,s is I can barely hear the radio now. I have to be stopped to hear it at all. Sigh! Hopefully, I can figure out how to fix it myself. I don't feel like hanging around over there again.

One step forward and 2 steps backwards. I hope that you can figure it out on your own, I hate hanging around a garage too.

More like two steps forward and one backward. I can't have a flashing check engine light.

@Juliaacv Having an engine light on usually. Isn't a big deal, but when it starts to flash it is another matter. I guess becoming a part time career will be less stressful.

@snowy22315 He isn't stressed but the girls are growing up and next January they will have to start getting ready to start junior kindergarten. He will be here more often, and there is even less of a need for the second vehicle. Right now I will use it when I finish work early and want to go over and see him and the girls.

I am the same way as you. I like getting away from there as fast as possible. I hope you can fix the radio yourself.

@lilacskies I have to go back there probably in April to get some freon added, and get a better latch on my seatbelt. If it isnt fixed by then I will present it to them.

@snowy22315 I hope you can figure it out. I don't think fuses have anything to do with sound and volume.

@kareng Noi, he was working on wires connecting to the battery. Who said anything about fuses? By virtue of the fact that is still on it is connected, but getting no volume even when turned up

It is great you found a garage that is affordable and competent. It is frustrating when they fix one thing and another issue pops up. The radio problem is definitely annoying and its barely audible until you stopped. I totally understand why you do not want to hang around there again. It is always a hassle when things do not go smoothly after a repair. Hopefully you can figure out how to fix things yourself. Perhaps it could be a minor thing such as a loose connection or setting that can be fixed easily. It could take trial and error, but with time you are likely to get to bottom of it. If nothing is possible, you can always ask garage about it next time and see it is fixed as part of the service. Either way, I hope its quick and easy fix for you! Good Luck!
