I put this phrase to the test when I commented on one of the hosts' actions on a livestream mobile app. To cut it short, the situation is she was having a battle with her opponent. I supported the opponent and asked her to talk with him. She is not acknowledging and is focused more on the gifts given by her gifters. I felt bad for her opponent and commented OA (short form of overacting). Then, her manager reported me to my manager in this app. I did not explain myself because it is a fact, and that is what I observed during that event. Unluckily, she got the negative comment for being overacting instead of the positive one.
What are you thoughts about it?

Some people just cannot help but overact.

Some people take comments as an insult instead of accepting as a compliment.
