The black and white movies are still available

I don't know why there are still black and white movies today. I like several classic black and white movies such as Roman Holiday and The Diary of Anne Frank.
As to today's black and white movies, I can't really appreciate them. I don't really understand why today they have to film black and white movies. Perhaps it looks more like arts and it can be easily win awards?
What do you think? Do you like today's black and white movies?

There was a very modern black and white movie that was released a few years ago. It's called Malcolm & Marie, and it was in black and white.

@youless It was about a screenwriter and his live in girlfriend fighting because when he won the Oscar for best screenwriting, he didn't thank her in his speech. Basically, they fight from beginning to end. It was really good. It was something different. I'm not a fan of romantic movies and this wasn't that romantic, but I liked the plot, dialogue, and acting.

I don´t think that I have watched new black and white films. I do like many classic black and white films though. I could not imagine Casablanca in color.
