I went to the big Tesco again this afternoon, and this week my Mum came with me too. I went and got a trolley, making sure it didn't have a wonkey wheel, and then I went and put the soft recycle in the recycle receptacle as usual. Then I waited for my Mum, and we went up on the lift. I walked with Mum to the bench she was going to sit on, and on the way I picked up some What's On booklets for The Garrick Theatre and St Mary's Hub in Lichfield. I left Mum to read the booklets while I went round the shop. I got 8 First Class stamps first, some of which I'm going to be using to write to the newspapers to complain about the unfair treatment of Wynne Evans. Then I went and got an art magazine and a stamping/craft magazine. I got 2 bottles of water, and then I went to get myself some toothpaste. I usually have Macleans whitening toothpaste, but they didn't have any, so I had to get fresh-mint. If this is the blue gel stuff, I don't like it! Mum didn't need any pads today, so I went straight to the fruit and veg section next. For me I got:- Edamame beans in their pods, fresh coriander, blueberries, spring onions, a grapefruit and a sweet potato. For my Mum I got:- green grapes, 2 lots of strawberries, walnuts, bananas and dates, but the dates are actually for Syd. I got Mum's milk and my usual yoghurts, but I also got myself some plant based plain yoghurt with coconut for one of my experimental recipes this week! Mum wanted some lemon desserts for their puddings for Sunday, but I couldn't get lemon so I had to get lime instead. Next I got some grated cheese and some mini pork pies for my Mum, and then it was off to the vegan and ready meals isle. I got a toad in the whole and 2 shepherd's pies for my Mum and some meat free bites for me, but I couldn't get my vegan pizza. After that I went to the ingredients isle and I got some apple sauce for my Mum. I also got some hot sauce (I hope it's not too hot!) some smoked paprika and some tomato paste for me. (I was actually looking for tomato puree, but I hope tomato paste will do!) Then I went to the canned isle and got some sardines for Syd and some tinned salmon for my Mum. Syd wanted a can of Multigataway soup, 4 small tins of baked beans and a chow mein pot noodle, so I gor those. Next I went and got some sliced buns, and then I went and got some cakes. I got some apple turnovers for my Mum and Syd for their supper tonight, and I got some cherry Bakewell tarts and some chocolate mini rolls. After that I went to the teas and coffees isle and got some malted milk biscuits for Mum and some custard creams for Syd. I got some vegan galaxy chocolate drink for me, and my Matcha green tea T-bags. I went to the cereal isle and got some Alpen for my Mum. They've changed the design of the box. I also got some grape and nut cereal for me, (I think that's what it's called!) It's the one that my brother says is like gravel! I got that because of not being able to get my pizza for breakfast! Then I went to the frozen section and got some of the Vegan Magnum Ice Lollies. I haven't had any in ages and I think I deserve them. Then I got some frozen onion and frozen garlic for me. Then I went into the next isle and got some jacket potatoes for my Mum, which I had to reach for with my walking stick again. I got some chicken pies, some of those pork meat ball things that I'm not aloud to say the name of (!), a large bag of crinkle cut chips, some mini pizzas and some battered cod. Lastly I went and got myself some latex-free gloves. Then I went to pay. My Mum had some money off vouchers aswell as a double points voucher, so the cost went down, first with the club card and then with the vouchers, from £140 pound something to £120 pound something! After I'd paid I went and sat on the bench with my Mum for a bit. I looked at the What's On booklets for The Garrick Theatre and St Mary's Hub, then I went and changed my book at the Tesco book swap. The cashier had given me 3 blue tokens to put in the voting machine, so I went and put those in. Then we went back down on the lift. Syd wasn't there when we got into the undercover car park, so I sat on the bench, but my Mum didn't want to sit on the bench because it was cold. Syd wasn't long though, so we put the bags in the boot and went home. When we got home I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and a cup of tea, and watched the telly. My Mum came out of the dining room and asked me if I'd got Syd's fudge! I'd completely forgotten Syd wanted some fudge sweets! Mum is either going to get some tomorrow down the road or I could try and get some on Friday when I go down town. Anyway, what have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great day/evening/night wherever you are in MyLot land!

Glad you did not encounter a wonky wheel. Fudge can wait.

I'm glad too. I hate it when I get a wonkey wheel. Fudge isn't really important in the grand scheme of things.
