I'm ANGRY!

I was supposed to send in another stool sample to whomever... The card I had to fill out asked my name, address, birthdate and insurance member number. Those I knew or had on a card in my wallet.
It was a new doctor who ordered the test. His name is John... and if he has a last name, they didn't tell me. The ordering physician was supposed to sign the card. There was no signature. Then the card asked for medical processing address... where do I get that from? Pretty couldn't find that information, either.
I followed the instructions as given on the card and stuck it in the mailbox.
I told Pretty that I wasn't doing this again when the sample wasn't processed.

My dad's doctor told him to use that cologuard thing. You get more test results back that are inconclusive than actually helpful.

It wasn't Cologuard. It was to test for blood in my stool. I didn't have to poop in the box this time. I had to swipe a paint brush across the stool and send the "product" back painted on the card.

@DaddyEvil I still think most mail in's are basically the same. I don't have a lot of faith in doctors either and that's bad coming from an EMT that takes people to them lol

I hope that it is proceeded and you get the test reports. Such unprofessional things will annoy anyone and make them angry.

And I don't understand why it has only 24 hours from the time I take the test to reach the testing center? It can take days to go from my house to an address in Arizona, halfway across the US. Especially as slow as our mail moves now.
Thanks.

Yes, it is... The technician (I'm almost positive she wasn't a nurse.) should have filled in the rest of that information before giving me the card and brushes for the test.

I would feel angry too, that is very unprofessional on his part, and that unprofessionalism leads the mind to imagine other issues that he has made unprofessional decisions on.
I hope that the sample is processed and perhaps you hear back, although they will not necessarily know who to send the results to will they?

The doctor didn't even give me the test kit. Somebody that didn't even work at my doctor's office gave it to me and told me to fill it out carefully...
He was really young. Pretty even commented on how young the doctor looked.
The only address they have is mine. I had to put that on the card.
Thanks.

Thank you. The card said the sample wouldn't be processed without the doctor's signature. That's why I doubt it will be processed.

Normally, between the two of us, we can figure out what is wanted but this time we were both baffled.
Thanks.

@DaddyEvil Love it when people make things that should be easy, way more complicated than it needs to be. lol

This is unprofessional and I only hope with the missing signature they will still process the sample

My hubby happens to be blind. He refuses to have me help with that test and I'm glad cause know what? I have to draw the line sometimes.

Yikes, to me it sounds like scam, so many jackasses out there are trying to get as much personal info on us as possible so before I'll fill out anything like that I call the clinic I go to and ask or else my insurance company.

That does sound very unprofessional that all the information wasn't filled in and signed by the doctor.
I would be angry too especially when it's likely they'll ask you to do it again.

That is a hassle. And they didn't even you the doctor's last name.
