Still exhausted, but feeling a little better.

Today went better then expected. We were out of the house about an hour, and got the required meds with little problem. I handed the woman the script and she filled it with little issue. It only took about twenty minutes or so. George took the walker with him and he was trucking along beside me. It makes him feel real independant. He may need it from now on, but he's motivated. But sunlight and warmth make a person feel real good. The fact it hit near 80 today might've had something to do with it. He did ask for tynoal, but given the fact he's walked a lot today (including a trip to the mailbox and back) it's a lot. Will he always hurt, no. But, his muscles have been through the rinnger over the past year and stroke is a long recovery.

I'm glad ya'll had a decent day and didn't have to wait on the medicine for long! That was nice. I also thing the warmer temps and the sunshine helps us be more motivated to do things!

@kaylachan It has been proven that sunshine does affect your body and gives you a boost in vitamins, especially D3. So keep that afternoon sitting outside with George a part of the routine! It's good for both of you!

@kareng We are trying. He decided to go outside early today. He didn't spend as long out there as he had been, but he wants to go back outside.

Yeah, the last two trips out, he'd decided to take it with us. It's fine for say the va, because yeah. but if we go shopping it won't be pratical because someone's going to have to push a grocery cart and it can't be the girl in the wheelchair. But, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

@Marilynda1225 Yeah. He also went through moods of seasonal depression where he wouldn't get off the couch. So, for someone needing to stay active, that slowed recovery down even more.

@kaylachan I understand and it will come in handy for those occasions when he can use the walker. Progress is slow for his recovery but he's doing well from his stroke.

Glad you got to enjoy some sunlight. I'm a big fan of the sun, especially this season... I must have said it a dozen times at this point. Also glad George is doing way better and got some walking done. He'll keep on improving.

Well, as long as you're smart about it, sunlight is very healing.

One thing good about this place our Pharmacy dispenses medicines without me having to show the prescription but he mentions the name on the bill of the doctor who has prescribed them They home deliver the medicines.

Most of the time, the same is true here. Everything can be done eletronically, and an in-person pickup is rarely required. In-person pickups are reserved for meds that can't wait to be started such as antibotics. The only reason we had a paper script, is ERS still use them. They see far many patients a day and often use different health services. So, paper scripts are easier.
