My f riend who visited me brought me some eatables about which I have already posted.
She had repeatedly asked me what I wanted from the US and finally I told her I would not midn geting a couple of Corel dinner plates. She also brought a pack of cardamom pods which she could get from her family Estates. They are expensive here.
And a surprise packet of See's candies. She knows I am a chocolate foodie.
I heartily thanked her and her response was that was nothing compared to the moral supoort she has been getting from me.

A set of Corelle dishes and dinnerware is expensive. We have a set here that we've been using for years. I want to buy a new one but its really quite pricey and not in my budget for now. But the quality of this brand is really worth every penny. You've got a very generous friend.

We had four Corelle dinner plates but now there is just one thanks to my maids. They managed to break them despite them being the strongest (lol)

They are extremely expensive here. 25 grams cost me Rs. 75 when I bought them
