I've been shopping down town again today. I went to the toilet by the Cathedral first, but the usual toilets were closed. There are some other toilets opposite, but you have to go down some steps to get to them, and I can't do that with my trolley, so I had to go to the stinky disabled toilet round the corner!
After that I went and posted some letters to the newspapers complaining about their unfair treatment of Wynne Evans. And then I went to the Oxfam shop to drop off a donation.
Then I went and got 15 more photos printed at the photo expert shop. It was the last time of using my card. It's called a 30 print deal card. So I asked them if I could buy a new one. Unfortunately, they said they didn't have any in stock at the moment but they should have some stock in on Thursday so I could come back then, but I said I'd probably be back next Friday again.
Next I went to WH Smith to get a BBC Music magazine, hoping that they still had some in stock. The automatic doors weren't working so I had to go through the manual door. Fortunately, someone wss coming out as I was going in and they held the door open for me, and I said thank you very much. When I went to see if I could get the magazine I saw it straight away, so I grabbed it and went straight to the till. I've gone off going to the self service till since that time I accidentally scanned a magazine twice, so I went to an actual person! Then when I'd payed for that and I was going to leave someone was coming in again, so they held the door open for me again, and I said thank you again!
After that I went to the down town Tesco and got myself some white cabbage and some plain flour for my Japanese style pancakes for Tuesday, because apparently it's pancake day on Tuesday and I'd forgotten otherwise I would have got the stuff on Wednesday from the big Tesco. I got a bottle of lemon juice for my Mum, but I couldn't get any pancakes. I saw something that I thought was pancakes, but turns out they were tortillas!
When I'd payed for those, I went to The Works and got myself a note pad, then I went to the Oxfam book shop, but before I got there the lady that I sometimes talk to who hands out leaflets with the street preacher stopped me and we had a chat.
In the Oxfam book shop I found a couple of books, one about Cardiff and one about Wales. I had a look through the book about Cardiff and I thought I might already have it, but I decided to get it anyway. I randomly stopped on the page about Welsh National Opera, and I swear to goodness there was a picture of Wynne Evans right there!
I hope that's a sign! I went and payed for those. £5.49 it cost me. I payed in change because I didn't want to break into a note.
Then I went to Iceland (the shop not the country!) and got a Chinese Style Chicken curry, a sweet and sour chicken and a paella. I looked for some pancakes again, and again couldn't find any. I hope I can get some pancakes on Tuesday or Mum's not having any! Anyway, I went to pay, and then set off for home.
I went to the toilet by the Cathedral again before I went home, to the stinky disabled toilet. While I was in there someone tried the door, twice! I was tempted to shout to them to be patient! But when I'd finished and I went out, there wss no-one there!
Then I came home round Stowe Pool. There was this little dog infront of me, I think it might have been a pug but it was very small, and his owner kept calling him to hurry up, but he was having trouble keeping up! Really cute though!
When I got home my Mum was already back from the house group that meets at Church. I unpacked the groceries and put them away, but I've yet to give Mum her change and stuff, so I'll do that in a minute.
Anyway, what are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

@sharonelton It’s important to say thank you when someone holds the door open for you. Some people don’t, and when that happens I say loudly after them “Don’t mention it”.
