Can’t Wait

It’s that time again. We are getting ready to head up to our West Virginia home the end of March. We are always excited to go. I have been gathering another load of things to take to the house. We somehow always manage to load our little Ford Fiesta completely full. My husband has a wall to finish building and then we will pick our next project. We plan to be back to Mississippi before Easter. Anything have you feeling excited ?

I can hear your excitement about going to W Virginia and I'm not surprised that you will have a car load of stuff to bring.
Do you have a date set yet for the move there?
My current excitement is my grandsons upcoming wedding in May..

What a fantastic picture! You have so many family ties in Mississippi is there a way you can keep both houses? WVA is nice during the warmer months, but awfully cold in the winter. It would be nice to have somewhere to flee to in the winter

At one time we were keeping this home, but we feel pretty sure we don’t want to keep it now. My one sister has a second home here if we wanted to have an extended stay here.

We had a Ford Fiesta when I was a little girl. I love hearing someone else does/did too!
I’m glad you’re so excited! How long is the trip? I don’t think I ever asked.
My sister and her family are in town today, so they are taking me out tonight in honor of my birthday tomorrow. I’m thinking Italian! I’m really looking forward to seeing them.

Italian sounds good. It is a 12 hour ride. We stop midway in Chattanooga. We can’t easily drive straight through anymore.

Ooh, how beautiful. I used to love that drive, despite the narrow twists and turns along US 60 in the mountains, because of the beauty of that drive along the river around Charleston.
I have a bone density scan next week, then no appointments until April, so I might take off. All of that will depend on the weather here and there. (Speaking of which, Mississippi is under a level 3 severe weather threat on Tuesday March 4, so do keep tuned to your local weather!!!)
