The Yellow Daffodils Bloomed!!

I noticed the buds over the weekend and have been waiting for more of them to bloom so that I could snag a photo for you! I was worried and wondering if the daffodils would bloom after that 2nd arctic blast with temps back to 20 and into the teens with the wind chill factor for 2 nights in a row here. They survived and are now blooming, as you can see. I haven't seen anymore blooms on the white daffodils, but will keep watch. I love all of these signs of spring and survival showing up around here! There were some white ones blooming earlier. I was hoping to see more blooms on that one after the big freeze. We will see!

They are pretty, those flowers can usually withstand colder temperatures than others.

I think if that was the case, they would have bloomed earlier here. I know in recent years we have seen them in January and February and it is late February here now. So they are actually a little late for my area this year.
