When married.

When you are married you should set a time for the two of you to be alone. Even if you just go for a walk holding hands. The time alone together is worth it. When your kids are asleep go outside on the porch and just sit and talk with each other. Time alone with each other will keep your marriage going. Plan to have a date night once a week where it is just the two of you. Your marriage is worth it to keep the two of you going strong.

You are exactly right. Marriage is work, both working together every day at it. If people would do what you said, they wouldn't "drift apart"

Yeah that's true. Some people have a wonderful marriage but they are blessed. For the most part, marrriage is work.

I'm with you on this. Know what? A married couple also needs a date night or lunch away from the fur kids, too, not just the human kids.
