Happy March! And with the new month we “march” right in to another countdown. As usual, it’s alphabetical until we get to the top ten. And, as usual, I’ll alternate between which year goes first. Since I did the 1955 teaser first yesterday, we’ll get the ball rolling in the countdown going back 40 years to 1985.
Addicted to Love - Robert Palmer
Has it really been 40 years since sexy Robert Palmer started dancing with those mannequins? 
I know the guys like it, but for me, Robert Palmer was plenty good enough to look at all by himself. 
While Palmer had scored a few “minor” hits in the 70s, this was the monster breakout hit that put him over the top. And then, less than 20 years later, he was gone, the victim of a heart attack at 54. 
He is sorely missed, and songs like this are a simple explanation as to why he’s sorely missed.

Now the 80’s is definitely “up my strasse” 
I wasn’t a big fan of Robert Palmer, but he had the best ever backing group here. Striking is a word for them. All I can really say is “Nice video”

Are you allowed to say “heterosexuality”? I don’t see an H in that long list they give out ending in a +
