Are you kidding me? I have a music gig tonight and did not know it.

I believe there are too any way to communicate with other people. And they lead to a lack of communication. Are you old enough to remember the telephone? I got home from Guitar Center and decided to get into chill mode. The Scotch was good. Then I got a random email reminder that I was playing a House Party gig tonight. I had no clue I am glad I only took two hits of acid. So now I am off to the deep suburbs, having to play ten songs, and sing lead on maybe four of them. Will I survive? Wish me musical bliss tonight. Or at least survival.

I'm sure it was a great night. I sometimes send messages or have messages sent to me but they don't arrive. You 'assume' a person has got the message but it isn't always so.

I am not sure how Jack, the host, tried to communicate with me. But I made it early and helped set up. It was fun, though "my" group only got to play four songs.
