Do you still remember Skype?

I started to use Skype long time ago as it could make an international call in low price. But today we already use other apps which can have a live talk we don't have to make a call. This is why Skype is still in my phone but I hardly use it for years.
Now I heard a news that Skype will be gone in May this year. It seems that Microsoft gives up some old software. In the past it was MSN and now it's Skype.

I know I have a Skype account even though I never used it. And I still use MSN.
I use WhatsApp to make international calls and texts. That's how I contact my Indian friends from myLot as well as some of my Filipino and Indonesian friends from myLot, too.

@grenery8 Yes, sometimes good things are gone due to the company thinks it doesn't make a profit
By the way, today I deleted Skype to free some space in my phone. Anyway, nobody is online there and it will be gone soon. So no need to keep it

Oh yeah, we're bidding good bye to Skype soon. I guess its relevance has declined due to competition from other messaging and video call apps that has emerged thru the years. Microsoft is now focusing more on Teams as its main communication platform.

Yeah, I remember it. It seemed confusing to use. Whatsapp is better

I used Skype to talk with a friend overseas. I haven’t used it in recent years.

I like Skype since it is useful to speak to my relatives overseas. Too bad it will come to an end in May.
