Under Another Weather Alert Today

We have another system moving through my area today with bad weather expected later this afternoon/evening. We woke up to 20mph winds. The electricity has been blinking on and off all morning, so expecting it to go out when the thunderstorms hit. We have tornadoes possible and large hail. Wind gusts up to 42 mph later today. Hoping we get neither one of those first too and don't want wind that high either!! Anyhow, if you don't see me around today, that is why! I hope you are having good weather in your part of myLot land!

We're getting gusts of wind around 20 mph or so, according to the weather channel. Tonight the wind speed is supposed to hit up to 50 mph... Take care. I hope neither of us see tornados, snow, hail or wind gusts that high. Good luck! We've already had two thunderstorms pass through with more on the way.

@DaddyEvil It is very quiet here now that the storm has passed. We did have a tornado that passed over but it didn't touch down. Thank goodness!

Here the weather is just boring right now. 55 F with gloomy skies and no wind. I hope you do not have to deal with a tornado.

Yes, very windy and rainy, we have wind warnings until midnight tomorrow. We had a rather loud thunderstorm earlier, now just rain. And weirdly, the weather people claim it could snow for a little while Wednesday evening? It's 50 degrees, if it snows it's not going to stick. I hope your power stays on.

Crazy weather all over. It's very quiet here all of a sudden. Hope that is not an omen for a big hit! Red area hitting here in a few, so I'll be signing off for awhile. Take care there.

@kareng Keep your electronics charged if possible. We were warned that while we won't have tornadoes, the winds could hit very hard.

We did have to reset clocks with one long blink, but the power did stay on. It's so quiet now that the storm has passed. How did ya'll do?

It was over with quicker than I expected. We did have a tornado in LA about 1.5 hours away that came our way, but didn't touch down here that I know of.

We're getting that system today in north Florida. They've been warning us for several days that we could be in for some nasty weather, but it seems like the severity of it has fizzled out. Most of the morning today has been nothing but a light drizzle.

It did rain that late morning with tornado watches in the area until 3 pm today. Thank goodness the rain is now out of my area.
