I hit the store yesterday on my way home and got the things I needed for a soup I am making today. So I got started on it, and realized I couldn't find the stock I bought. I have looked everywhere. I could have sworn I brought it into the house, but is now nowhere to be found. and double. That means a run to Dollar General 6 miles + round trip. I could put the soup off and eat something else, but I already have the potatoes cut..

That’s so annoying. And you know you’ll find it in the morning or something. I just had soup myself, home made. Not mine; I ate with my dad and stepmom after my doctor appointment. I did ask my pain management doc today about skydiving. He said go for it. That makes me think I shouldn’t do it. After all, we know how incompetent he is. I feel like I should do the opposite of what he says.

@snowy22315 Yeah, it’s probably a bad idea.

Well, you do what you do, but my friend broke her leg sky diving. FYI. I would hate to see you hurt yourself more than you already are.

@AmbiePam Honey, we all love you. With your pain issues, if you were to be injured in skydiving...oh, my. It's your call, we know that. But like Snowy, I would have to see you worse off than you are now...

Hmm...this is when I would probably think, ''what other stocks do I have that would work?'' because well...I've done it before. I know I am not the world's greatest cook by any means, but I do know I am a good one and make good food. Sometimes, substituting works out just fine. I do realize not everyone wants to attempt substitutes. I hope your soup is delicious, Snowy.

Well I do have a couple of other soups but this is supposed to have a 32 ounce carton stock. I only have a couple of other assorted soups one being tomato. I don't wan t to put something else in it, and not like it or have to throw it out.

@snowy22315 Oh, I understand. With the cost of all foods right now, a person just does not want to be wasteful.

I can feel with this kind of frustration. I cannot even do the cooking if lacking some ingredients.

You will have to go to the store to get the stock.

How frustrating. What are you going to do now? Drive to get the stock and then make the soup? I hope you find the stock at home and save time and money.

So annoying but even more so if you discover it later somewhere.
