The officials with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Southeast answered an emergency call on Tuesday when a man who was wearing a life jacket was aboard a boat that capsized when a wave hit the boat near the Black Point Marina in Homestead Florida.
The officials with the USCG were able to rescue the man who was aboard the capsized boat to the shore safely.
The man was not injured in the incident which is good news. The USCG will send a salvage team to recover the boat that is in the water.

Interesting, my son's good friend is in the Coast Guard and is at sea in that area. I wonder if he was a part of the rescue.

I would not like to experience such rough waters when in a small boat, and it was good that he stayed with the boat, and was rescued without further mishap.
