Sunday, 9 March 2025 - learning a few things

Good Sunday to you all. I ran out to get gas in the car and two things I realized. First it is a nice day out. Well for here it is. Sunny and 51F, so that is nice. The second I realized I should have got gas yesterday when it was 10 cents cheaper. Of course, it’s going up like everything else. I’m still holding out that prices will stop going up and up since my pay is not going up at all. Due to spending more on gas I decided to spend less on lunch. I made some noodles and butter with some left-over ham from the other night. It might not be the healthiest or best thing I could have made but it is cheap. Got to save money where you can. Hope you all have a good day. Time for me to dust and vacuum and might even get in a little nap before it gets to late in the day to do so.

I do think we've gotten to a point of inflation fatigue. You can feel it in the air. People are just tired of it.

@porwest yes, I use to buy name brand things and at the cost I buy almost all generic now cause it is cheaper not to mention cutting out a lot of spend on things I don't really need.

Everything is so expensive right now and will continue to go up in prices. The food sounds delicious. As long as you enjoyed it, that's all that matters. It's not like you eat like that on every meal anyway, right? You did well saving money when you can. I do the same. I hope you have a great day and get all your chores done!

Well not sure it was all that enjoyable but it's better than going hungry. No, I don't always eat like that some days healthier than others. Yep everything is too expensive.
