The number of compassionate people are decreasing day by day. People are always eager to exploit you and if they can't they harm you. Therefore for old people like us life is a struggle.

I get why you feel that way. Yes, people can be disappointing and disgusting. It is frustrating when negativity seems to be everywhere. It sometimes feel like an uphill battle when kindness and decency seem rare. I also feel that selfishness, dishonesty, and cruelty exist, sometimes in overwhelming amounts in all societies. But I do still believe there are good people out there, even though they are harder to find. Moreover, I have always felt that kindness is quieter than negativity, and thus makes it less noticeable. A single bad encounter can overshadow ten small acts of goodness. I hope you meet some good people in near future. Take care!
