I hope but I also have a doubt

This little boy, Aritra, has lived in our foster home for four years or so. He is nine years old. Before he came to our foster home he was in a government orphanage. He and his sister, Antara were placed in our home in a hope to give the siblings a better life . After being in our English school for the last four years he has been advised to go to a government Bengali school . He has no birth certificate and his name in not in the school department portal. This has become a hurdle in the child's way to join a government school. Yesterday, I went to the local government school and tried to speak to the headmaster. Unfortunately, the boy could not be admitted in the Bengali School for the lack of his birth certificate . I returned home asking myself will I be able to get the boy admitted in the vernacular school! I plan to go to the school again to seek a way out for the boy. If the school inspector (SI) of our district allows the boy can be admitted in the local government primary school. Otherwise, I must get an affidavit done at the office of District Magistrate. Hope I don't need to go that far, but who knows!

sounds like a tough situation, but it’s great that you’re advocating for Aritra and doing everything possible to get him into school

I hope this can be worked out easily and quickly for you. He deserves an education and not having a birth certificate is not HIS fault!

I am sure you could figure something out. I am sure he has birth records somewhere. I'd assume child births are recorded.
