Ordered for Zinnia seeds

Despite my decision not to go for seasonal flowers I see some sunshine in the garden and that has tempted me to try and grow some seasonal flowers I will start with zinnias as they are quick, colourful and easy to grow The lot I have chosen has many colours and sizes. Keeping my fingers crossesd

Enjoy your flowers. I have seen some interesting flowers online. Last year I went to a big plant sale in May. I hope they have it this year as well. I will buy a plant or two or some flowers if they do.

@allknowing I have never had any luck trying to grow something from seed. I get a few very thin shoots that never develop into anything more, do I overwater them, under? Don't know. I prefer to plant already blooming things.

@snowy22315 I have done that for years and have been successful It is only now because of wild trees they have robbed the morning sun. May be your soil is not fertile and there may not be enough morning sun.

@allknowing I adore zinnias. They (along with hibiscus, marigold and frangipanis) always transport me back to my childhood in Africa.
