Random plantings.

My style of gardening is random rather than planned - I just take notions and do daft planting, and the result this month is as photoed above. I do tend to forget what has been planted where, but at least I get colourful, zesty results. Today I got my first early potatoes planted in tubs. Just a pity none of us eat potatoes, so when the time comes to harvest them I’ll call my son and his hungry family and they can have them. There’s zucchini coming up among the carnations and nasturtiums but that’s ok too.

I’ve got one potato plant growing up here in this (temporary) room, I found an old potato at the bottom of my garbage and noticed it was already growing the “eyes” so I planted the whole potato right next to my parsley.
And let me tell you, a potato plant is a little traveler.
I’m sure you already know this.
It’s vining out, grabbing hold of the parsley, and wrapping around my desk lamp. My regular lamp has a grow-bulb because we get no sun here. Let me see if I can find a pic of the jungle I have going on up here. No idea how I will be able to move it all when I move to a new place.
Your plants are fantastic.

@Melanie_Marie That's funny! I have never heard of anyone growing a potato indoors before! I wonder whether it will develop any tubers?

That's a lovely mix of colours and planters. There is a vegetable garden here with lots of tomatoes and pumpkin ripe at the moment.
