Can’t believe some people

I just saw a post in my FB feed having to do with Carrie Underwood performing at Trump’s Inauguration. I decided to take a peek at the comments and this is what I found.
Some people said they will not be watching American Idol this year because she is one of the judges in the current season. Isn’t the show supposed to be about the contestants and finding the next American Idol and not about the judges?
Others commented they will no longer listen to her music or go to her concerts. Really? Why? Just because she sang at Trump’s Inauguration doesn’t mean she supports Trump or agrees with his policies. (Don’t know if she actually does or not.)

Yeah. And even if she does support him doesn’t mean she is a bad person.

Some people baffle me big time. And this cancel culture thing is nuts.

I saw her perform. They were having trouble getting the background music going, and she decided to sing without it. I think deep down she's a good person, and people are just looking for an excuse to be mad, because they realize they're powerlesss.

When it comes to actors and singers you have to keep their art separate from their political views or actions. Otherwise you’d have to boycott a lot of them if they don’t align with yours.
