Last Night

It is time for me to study Sanskrit. But I had a sleepless night yesterday. I'm feeling lazy. I don't know why I did not have a sound sleep last night. Usually I fall fast asleep minutes after lying on my bed. But last night a thought sneaked into my mind and I got badly disturbed. I began thinking about my parents and my sister who is no more. The memory of my younger sister filled my heart with grief. I was missing her badly. I could hardly sleep for just one and a half hour. Now I'm feeling lazy and sleepy and also afraid if I'm going to have another sleepless night.

Missing family members or friends who have passed away is natural. Try not to think about it if you can. I hope you can sleep tonight without dwelling on thoughts of your sister.

Thanks. Yes; I had a very refreshing sleep last night. I always miss my departed sister; but last night this affliction went beyond my control and I spent the whole night changing sides. There were no tears in my eyes; but my heart was crying

@Shivram59 You're welcome. Believe me, I've lost a sister, 13 brothers and 1 son. I understand. I will always listen if you feel the need to talk.

@DaddyEvil I'm so sorry for your great loss; my friend. One of those who were once my father's helper said to me I should be,happy with what God does.

I too did not sleep well last night. Was disturbed by something I read on facebook and the thought did not go from my head the whole night. Need to work today. Will make up for my sleep tomorrow when I will shut my phone and sleep the whole day.

It's completely understandable that you're feeling sluggish after such a restless night. Grief and missing loved ones can be incredibly disruptive to sleep.

I was very restless that night. I spent the whole night changing sides. Sleep was elusive and I was unable to think of anything else other than my departed sister.I have never had such a night before

You are right. And if you are missing your near and dear ones who are no more; this affliction turns even more painful.
