Good day to you all. Hope your week is going well, we got halfway through it now. Today at work was a hard day, lots of physical work moving a lot of heavy boxes all day. Nothing like spending most of my day moving boxes that weight between 30 – 50 lbs. (13 – 22kg). Pretty safe to say you know my back is swore and I am so ready for a nap. I think I am going to get the heating pad and lay on it and get a little nap in. I’m getting too old for that kind of day. Just hoping I won’t be too swore in the morning. I read an article that said egg prices dropped hugely. It didn’t say where or why, and I would like to know where because I just checked the prices at Walmart here and it’s still the same price as it has been for the last month. Have they gotten cheaper by you?

They are about the same here. I'd assume egg prices might've dropped closer to areas where there's a lot of chickens to lay the eggs.

We have people that sell them in my area for $2.50 a dozen for yard eggs. Just about everyone has chickens in my area.

I checked egg prices here and they're still at the same price they were last week. We still have a carton with 18 eggs in it in the fridge so we don't need any but I'd like to start eating eggs again. (My daughter says we might need the ones in the fridge if she wants to cook a cake or something... ) I'm making scrambled eggs with onions, garlic and cheese in them for dinner tonight. I see an article online from Newsweek that claims eggs dropped by 30 cents a dozen yesterday but they didn't say where the price dropped happened. (They were using government figures in their article. I'll believe that when I see it happen in a real store and not from "government" data.)

@Bensen32 I never did find out what store the price dropped in. Asking the internet just gives me what the "government" claims without ever identifying who in the government said it.

At least they are not still going up but would be nice if they started to go down.

Hi Bensen, I bought a 6-pack of eggs @ Walmart for $2.35 last week. So not too bad, I guess. I’m in MI

All that lifting would be hard on almost anyone. I hope you can rest a bit and recover. Eggs have not gone down here. Still at least over $5 a dozen, and red meat of any kind is climbing up constantly. We do not eat nearly the amount of red meat that we used to, never was a lot but now it’s just basically a luxury!
