As I recall, there really is nothing to match an English afternoon Tea.
Have you had one ever?
Usually tis lovely sannies packed with tastiest and then the lovely pastries and sponges as well.
If you have, what is your favorite 3 o'clock tea item?
To go with your tea as you please, Alice.
I still observe the custom to this day at 3PM in my house, everything stops for tea.

I generally drink tea all during the day...I make my own, creating different flavors...different herbs have different benefits...I'm trying to grow enough to make my tea, but currently buying it from a reputable store.

I think that's the coolest thing! I've never had an English tea.

I do enjoy afternoon tea and pastry during the cold weather but never heard of an afternoon tea establishment in the U.S. I bet those sponge cakes are tea-licious!

Not my "cup of tea" but it just might be as popular as those coffee houses, we have here.

I have afternoon tea with friends once in a while. I love to have coffee or Earl Grey Tea with pastries.
