Food Trucks Two Days In A Row

I visited a food truck yesterday with my brother and enjoyed a delicious beef bowl. It was his treat of course, so it was even better because it was free food. Today on my way back from the hospital, I stopped by a different food truck that specializes in broths and soups. I came home with a clear plastic can of beef broth with a straw and a little container of red chili powder. The straw was useless since I could burn the roof of my mouth trying to slurp on the broth and was put away for future use. I sprinkled the chili powder on the beef broth and it tastes so good. I really like the spiciness and savoriness of the broth. I should order it more often. It's so healthy and delicious. I eat at food trucks now and then, but it's the first time I've visited food trucks two days in a row. I should go to them more often. There are so many delicious ones to try out. I really love the ones that sell pasta, soup, salad, and food bowls. They are so good! I highly recommend them!

I would love to get meals from a food truck more often.

@Deepizzaguy I've never had tacos before. What kind of tacos and pizzas do you like?

We had one at the event I did this past Saturday. I'm looking forward to trying it out at the next one I go to; I just wasn't hungry that day. Everyone said the food was very good. They served Mexican food.

@lilacskies Oh my goodness--never? You got to go do it! Fajitas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas...none of that?

I hope you get to try it next time. I've never had Mexican food before. Do tortilla chips count? Lol!

@kareng Lol! Never. I don't like the smell of Mexican food. It makes me feel nauseous. I like the tortilla chips, bread, and taco shells as well as Mexican spices like dried peppers and authentic Mexican candy, soda, and chips, but not the food itself. The traditional food like tacos and burritos. Just smells so bad to me.

I haven't visited a food truck for many years now, in fact, since I was a teenager years ago.

Are they available where you live? They are way cheaper than restaurants.

I usually only hit the “food trucks” at the state fair. I love the idea of them, though. Many years ago, when I went to a 4th of July concert in Ohio, I got there early and really could have used a food truck instead of having to walk nearly a mile to the closest restaurant (which was awful).

They are very common here in the east coast. They are popular with the morning, evening, and night crowds coming and going from work. They also attract a lot of tourists. The food truck owners make good money. Most sell out in a few hours even with a ton of ingredients stocked up. Oh no. That must've been frustrating. What kind of food was at that restaurant? What did you eat?

@lilacskies — Chuy’s (where I eat 4-5 days a week) has Tex-Mex food and great salsa that keeps my sinuses from clogging up in the spring.

@FourWalls I keep reading about Mexican food on here today. Is it that popular? I've never had it in my life.

Haha They are really good. They come in plastic containers with tender pieces of beef and fresh ingredients with a plastic lid on the top and a plastic spoon and fork. You are welcome! They are not helpful at all especially since they are a health hazard in this case. Yes, I went to the hospital this morning. I had pain in my ribs. Thank you. Please do.
