Mylot friends, I have an update for you. Things are slowly looking up for me. Last week, I reported that I'll be receiving my father's survival benefits money starting in April. Backpay will still be determined at another date. I'm still waiting to hear back from Carole at OOD for my BA meeting to be scheduled with my new money. I'll be emailing her tomorrow during work to find out the latest. While I'm still at Goodwill at the moment, I still plan to quit something this spring. It just depends on landing an offer (if I can work limited hours), or can't work. As for my Medicaid issue, it'sb even cleared up this afternoon, when I've spoken to JFS on the phone. It's been a week since I've gotten the call from them. I don't have to worry about doing the hearing next week. It was just the nonpayment for December (when I was sick) and January. They received it in the mail yesterday. And I reapplied for Medicaid online yesterday. It should be approved a week from here, and then restarted back in May. The co-share premium cost will be higher in the 100s, due to the new money amount. As for work, last week I had a visit from Erin at HR from Goodwill to check in my accommodations I've had for a month as a cart runner. No adjustments needed. And I hope to be cross-trained soon, when we're fully staffed. I did learn how to sort shoes and accessories on Monday, and place donuts on hangers last week. Today my new manager Anita had officially changed my role and title on the roster. No more pre-sort 3 bins listed, just runner as a cart runner. I do pre-sort as a filler while I'm waiting for carts to run up and down. No pressure if I have a cart full or not or cleared a bin. Just to kill time. I can also add that to my resume and job applications. I'll check in over this weekend for posts and comments.
