Creating mandalas an activity I enjoyed

There was a time I got hold of a software that provided countless mandala designs and the software helped me create colourful mandas picking colours to mince and match Working on mandalas gives one an opportunity to relax and once a mandaa is completed it does not end there as one feels to create more, That has been my experience.

In Bengal they are perhaps called alpana. They are designed to celebrate or mark special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, etc. We draw a big one for a new year prayer service.

I used to do Mandalas also with those apps that you can download on your phone or tablet. Its a good way to kill time back then.
