Today there was rain in the forecast.
I knew that.
I had fasting blood work at 7:10 this morning. It was about 30 minutes away from home. It was very mild when I left at 6:30 this morning. But, I decided against wearing a raincoat, and just put a light sweater on.
Boy, was that a mistake!!!
When I got out of the lab, I drove across the parking lot to go through the Tim Horton's drive through. Had to get that coffee and something on my tummy so that I could take my morning meds.
Went a little further in the parking lot and visited a new grocery store. While in there I could hear it just teaming down rain, and thundering quite loud. At the cash register I could see it was coming down in buckets.
And I was wearing a light sweater, and not a raincoat for the year's first thunderstorm. Not a great choice.
After posting this...........I see that the $$ signs are up. Thank you again, myLot and to my friends here for allowing me to see the $$ signs.

I just saw that too. That is aggravating when you don't have the right clothes for the weather. I keep a jacket in my car for such possibilities.

And on top of the fact that I wasn't wearing a raincoat, I forgot my glasses at home, but had my prescription sunglasses in the car, so wore those on my head until I got into the grocery store. The cashier and I were laughing about my choices this morning.

I don't have much today online but I manage to withdraw my earnings online in a paid market research website and donated some of my earnings there! Have a nice day everyone!

@Juliaacv yes because it's difficult to reach the minimum payout and it takes time.

I always have a light and foldable umbrella in my bag, just in case.

@kareng We should still have freezing nighttime temperatures, although not really too much below freezing. It is hard to believe that 11 years ago this past week, we had such a terrible snowstorm that I wasn't able to make it home after work, it was only a 20 minute drive from work, but I, along with 9 other cars, got stuck in a huge snowdrift. Thankfully nobody was hurt and no damages were done, the drift was massive. They closed the road and I had to be pulled out by a tractor and then had to go back into town and I stayed at my brother's place that night. My husband was coming home from the other direction, and a cop waved him over as the road that he was on was closed and he had to turn around and go back to the little town close by and sleep at a friend's place. it was a huge storm.

I have a doctor's appointment next Wednesday.
My doctor, who I have only been a patient of since last May or June, is closing his office this month.
He has a family emergency which has caused him to make a very difficult decision to close his practice.
I am sure that it will be an emotional appointment, as I am very thankful to have him as a doctor, and he is such a very compassionate and caring health care provider.
