The Tylertown, MS Tornadoes

You may recognize the name, Tylertown--you may not. Tylertown is the city where the flea market is where I have a booth.
When I heard a tornado hit, I sent a text to one of the weekend workers and asked if the flea market got hit and if everyone was safe there. I got a message back that no, they were all safe and the flea market was spared. But Paradise Ranch Campground not far from the flea market got hit bad.
This is also the city where I have been doing the Market Days events. From what I have heard the event center is also safe, as is the other buildings in town. It appears the tornado skipped over the town and immediate surroundings and hit the rural or country sides of town. There was also significant damage done east of the town.
I have attached a video from one of the news stations that shows one area hit in Tylertown, MS.
UPDATE: I just read that two tornadoes hit Tylertown today, the second one was an hour after the first one and followed the same exact path. Those poor people!

I’m so sorry to hear that town was hit twice. Even sadder about the fatalities.

@kareng — there was a video on YouTube last night of a drone flying over Tylertown. Awful.

This weather is absolutely crazy. I feel so bad for the people and towns that were in harms way of all those tornadoes.

@kareng That is absolutely crazy. That's even worse than getting hit by multiple hurricanes in a matter of weeks. At least with hurricanes you have time to prepare or evacuate.

That sounds so terrible. Tornados are just so destructive and unpredictable as to where exactly they will hit.
There were two tornados here last night. One hit fairly close by, did some damage but no one hurt, it wasn't on the ground long. The wind was not our friend for 2 solid days. Stuff is everywhere, limbs, etc. Friday, it was 75 degrees. Tomorrow morning, it's supposed to be snow flurries! Seriously we are getting it all in one weekend! But we are all safe, so it's fine. Be safe, Karen.

So many deaths from these storms, truly heartbreaking. We are all fine here, for which I am very thankful.
