Fetching a friend at the airport

For the first time, I fetched a friend who arrived from Iloilo City at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. That was the first time that I went to the airport alone. It's quite far from my home. I left the house at around 7am and arrived Cubao Bus Station before 9am. The bus for the airport is scheduled to leave at 9am so I was just in time. I arrived at the airport at around 10am and my friend's plane arrived at past 11am. While waiting for her, I had lunch at Wendy's. When we already met I let her had lunch then we heeded for home at around 1:30 pm. I just observed her on our way, she was just silent but when we were almost at our destination, she asked me how far were we for home? She just didn't complain. I pitied her. She was so tired. Upon arriving home she immediately laid on the sofa and slept for a few hours. Then that's it.

I hope that your friend will feel better soon after her long trip aboard an airplane.

Flying always seemed to make my friend really tired. I picked up one friend two different times when he flew here from across the country. He always slept in the car while I was driving us here and slept more when we reached my home. I stayed quiet and let him sleep and cooked a meal for when he woke up again.

@DaddyEvil Because that was only over an hour trip, no meals were served.

@pahak627 Tired and hungry. I don't believe they served a meal on his plane or maybe he didn't like what they served. I don't remember anymore. That happened when I was in my early 30s, about 30 years ago.

Jet lag does not affect her too much since her flight was only more than an hour.

I don't blame her for being so tired. Sounds like that's a long flight.

@pahak627 That's still a long time to be awake and upright with little movoment. It can take a lot out of a person.

It was only a short flight just over an hour but her trip from her home to the airport took her 3 to 4 hours and our trip NAIA is 3 hours more or less with all the traffic.
