We made our trip to Oklahoma, and I helped with the funeral dinner. We went to church this morning and then ate at church before leaving to come home.
On the way home we made a point to do our weekly shopping and so that is done.
For tonight's meal we made sandwiches of meat loaf on seeded rye bread. We also ate a dish of yogurt. We were still pretty full from lunch.
Lunch was ham, corn, beans, potatoes, rolls and desserts. I am ready to go to bed and sleep in my own bed.
It is a good sleepy feeling.

@GardenGerty No tornadoes all around us Saturday and 3 touched down within 50 miles of us both east and west and north about 80-90 miles away. Very stressful day.

How did the weather go in Missouri? I hear western Kansas had huge dust storms and I believe a 71 vehicle pile up. I know that even where my brother lives in Oklahoma they saw lots of people who were injured.

@GardenGerty We lost more limbs in the back yard but we still haven't gotten the stuff that fell during the winter storms cleaned up yet so it's okay.
We saw trees down in one of the parks close to us here and I saw on the news that some tornados went through but not where we live.
I've been opening the windows in the house on nicer days and couldn't figure out why we were having so much trouble with allergies until I read online about the dust storms from Kansas... One of the things the allergist cautioned us about was dust in the air. Apparently that was one of the big problems I had... I knew it couldn't be pollen yet. Nothing is greening up yet here.

Me too. I am glad we decided not to travel Friday night. I understand there was wind and fires and debris blowing that cause injuries.
