I haven't changed my comforter or curtains yet but I put away all the decorations for Christmas and winter. The picture shows my bookcase. The weather here has been quite warm, upper 40s and low 50s. Windy and rainy. Not much going on here. Grandson has set a wedding date. Made my appointment for my mammogram and shopping the cottage insurance. Contractor fixed the damage at cottage cause by huge tree branch. Checking off things on to do list. Got up this morning and did a load of laundry and dishes. Now I'm chilling with my doggies. My cookunity food should be here before 2pm. I have corn beef in the crockpot. I have steak Diane and crab cakes coming this week. Can't wait. Happy St Patrick's Day. Did you know St Patrick was Welsh. Interesting fact. What's happening in your world?

The weather here has been the same as yours. We are having some work done in the apartment and after that we change bedding and such. Congrats to your grandson. The crab cakes sure sound good. I love fish. Enjoy!

Well that is inconvenient. Here we don't have a maid but there are certainly days I wish we had them.

Since his father was named Calpurnius and his mother was named Conchessa I always got the impression he was more Roman than any of those who were present before the Romans. From what I've read no one has actually established exactly where he was born but it is a fact that the romans had many bases in britian and he was born on one of them.

This was on BBC this morning about him being Welch so that's where I got the info. But now I see it was Roman parents in Wales.

I chickened out. Just could do it. Not ready to face any questions or hugs, just couldn't but I am improving so maybe another time. Probably I just need to go to a church near me here where no one knows me. Yes it is exciting about the wedding. She picked an amazing dress that looks fabulous on her. They are getting married on the beach.

Between my writing, the grand kids, genealogy, and just playing games on my phone I barely have a minute but that is the way I like it and for Lent I have tried to say the rosary every day, it hasn't been easy lol

@BelleStarr It's good to do this for Lent, even if it doesn't always work out.

I love your little tree I also had corned beef and cabbage in the crockpot (so easy peasy) so we had our traditional St. Patricks dinner. I didn't know that St. Patrick was Welsh or if I had heard, then I forgot. Forgetting is common these days My oldest grandson is getting married in May and he's the first to tie the knot. We're all excited and looking forward to the wedding.
