I am sure most of you have your own version of defining love. In my opinion, love refers to the way we navigate the challenges of loving someone. Sometimes, we find ourselves unable to articulate our feelings in specific situations. It is hard to comprehend. Through the years, loving someone changed the colors of love at random.
What is love to you?

@rakski I must admit that I have a new found love with the presence of my partner. But then, I am not feeling secured and love is still being explored if it will work out. I do not have high hopes, but I am hopeful that it will be forever or even for life to ponder.

That is a big question, and most people would say that there are more than one type of a love.
Human love, loving your family is one type, loving your partner is slightly different, as this is romantic love, and animals can love too, at some level of love, than is more than an instinct for them too, I think.
So, we are all capable of love, and loving, and yet, to me, the highest form of love is loving as God loves, unconditional loving, or spiritual loving.
Spiritual love is a livingness in you that allows you to live from the truth, as love is always truthful, and is an energy that allows truth to thrive in you, not be hidden.
Living from the highest form of love also ensures that you love fully at its lower levels too, but loving from a lower love, such as romantic level loving, does not imply that you can as yet fully love spiritually, unconditionally, too.

I can say that I have a strong love to our God. I had experienced failed love in the past and still exploring the real essence of love with my current partner. If ever it failed, my love to God still remains within me. He can always be there despite having failed relationships. Loving someone is still a universal one to experience.

@Shavkat Yes, a strong love for God, can get us past a lot of life's difficulties. Loving someone special here on the Earth is also a wonderful thing to experience too.

That’s such a thoughtful perspective on love. It’s true that love often reveals itself through how we handle challenges and grow alongside someone. I think love can be many things — understanding, patience, and even the little moments of kindness that build over time. It’s not always easy, but navigating those ups and downs together makes it meaningful. For me, love is about feeling safe and supported while also encouraging each other to grow. How has your view of love changed over the years?

I must say that the definition of love had changed in different levels. Expressing love has been changing when it comes to having an affectionate relationship to a particular person. At present, I am having a relationship with someone. I cannot define the word love because we are still exploring the real meaning of it. It is too early if we are really meant to be.
