Maybe called by others as coconut pie. This pie is a traditional Filipino baked young coconut pie. It is a specialty or one our provinces. Buko pie is made with young coconuts, coconut juice and uses sweetened condensed milk and a bit of cornstarch encased with a pie crust. I cannot remember when was the last time I eat this. This is not a favorite but it is always good to taste our own pie here once in a while.

Likewise, it has been a while since I last tasted that delicacy that I have forgotten how it tastes. My memory of the meal is the semi-crunchy yet smooth texture of the coconut flesh in my mouth. But I can not remember how it tasted.

@rakski Maybe one of these days, when I get the chance, I'll buy one. I think it's nice to indulge in these delicacies from time to time and truly savor the experience.
