Director Came in my Room

So the director came in my room to say that they got a complain from a parent. The parent said that her child was bored of coloring activity. The child was 5 years old and mom said her daughter is advanced level. However, her classmates are mostly beginners and hardly ever speak English words. The coloring activity is related to the topic in the book. That's why I followed. Oh no! Lord, I want my replacement to arrive soon. I am out of wits. The manager said instead of preparing lesson materials make the class fun. What am I? a clown or a teacher?

Sometimes you have to be both when working with kids.

Those are the challenges of a teacher, you have to take it as a part of your job. Children love fun classes. Maybe you can think of something advanced for the girl while others are doing basic colouring. Take care. I hope that your replacement comes soon.

That parent is such a whiner. I’m sure you are doing a great job.

working with kids, you need to think like them. What will they enjoy and how will they learn? You have to put yourself in their shoes. Most activities for those ages should involve music, dance and movements. They like it
