Pretty figurines at our house-sit

The photo shows three ornaments that are sitting on top of a treadle sewing machine at our house-sit. I had no idea what brand they were but a little card next to them says they are DEMDACO products. This company started off as DD Traders in Hong Kong in 1991.
In 1997, Demi and Dave moved back to the USA and founded DEMACO. Within a few years, the Willow Tree® line of figurines hit the shelves and have been the #1 gift line since 2000.
I’ve seen these and similar figurines in many gift shops. They are not particularly expensive which is nice, and there are dozens to choose from. From left to right, the figurines are called happiness, mi casa and tenderness.

I've never heard of the brand but I'm not into figurines, either. Those look nice.

@JudyEv They kind of look like something bound to be knocked down, at least they would be here.

@snowy22315 True. They don't have a very big base.

I've got one of an angel with wire wings, playing an invisible flute...

They are very nice, I have plenty of figurines here. Luckily I know the story behind each one,

I've seen those figurines (or similar ones) and have always liked them. They do look nice sitting on the sewing machine. I'm at the point where I don't want any dust collectors around anymore.

They really look beautiful. They have to be cleaned everyday to keep that white shine.

@JudyEv You think you have to clean them everyday only if your living area is dust free.

I love Willow Tree figurines! They have such a simple yet meaningful design. It’s interesting to learn about DEMDACO’s history—I had no idea they started in Hong Kong. Do you collect these, or were they just part of the house-sit?

They are nice ones and good that they are affordable. I like figurines but my husband doesn't..I have just one on my TV shelf. My husband likes the shelves and walls to be clean and empty as much as possible.

@JudyEv Yes, that's the biggest concern, increases the dusting work.

I have long admired this line of pretty things. I wanted to get some many times for my Mama when she was alive RIP but circumstances didn't permit.

I love Willow Tree, I have the entire Nativity set from the manager to the sheep and camels and even the star lol I have a few others that I have gotten as gifts because most of them are made to celebrate a moment in life. I like giving them as gifts.

They are certainly very lovely. I might buy one to hang on our Christmas tree. That's a good enough excuse, isn't it? Imagine having the nativity set. I'm sure you would love setting that up at Christmas or maybe you leave it out to enjoy all year.
