Do you stay productive at work or at home? / myLot

I've been working from home for 7 years now, and for me, it makes me much more productive. I can do whatever I want while working, which helps me feel less bored or stressed. Unlike working in an office, where during my free time, I have to engage in conversations with colleagues about everything, which I find exhausting since I'm an introvert.

I've never been able to work from home. I worked Customer Service for most of my working life. I had to be in the stores where I worked and talked with and helped customers.

I see. I used to be in customer service too, which is why I worked the graveyard shift before. Most of the customers I handled were from the US, and due to the time zone difference, I had to work at night.

Yeah it saves the daily commute hassle. My dream job would be a work from home job with decent pay.

I generally work at the office, but soon will be working at home while I take care of our granddaughter that will be recovering from knee surgery. I think working at home would be better, as wouldn't be interrupted as much as being at the office, since people like stopping me to get them office supplies or just to talk.

I'm sorry to hear about your granddaughter, but it's good that she's recovering now. I agree! Some people in the office will stop you from what you're doing just to gossip!
