Usually I do not but this one is so impressive. I saw the movie in the local drive in back in the late 60s, dad loved those westerns so he would take us to see as many as they would show .... oh, he also liked those James Bond movies. BUTTTTT, I am impressed with the orchestra that did this recording of it, what do you think?

I loved most of Clint Eastwood's movies! I like some movie themes, but don't watch a lot of television.

Yeah but I learned to hate westerns of all kinds for the most part.

This one is certainly iconic. isn't it? I do pay attention to movie themes/scores . . . it's so wonderful when you hear an orchestra do a grand rendition of your favorites. I love hearing it "live", but we can't always afford going to such venues/concerts - thank goodness for YT!

I agree with you. I doubt any famous orchestras like them would ever perform here anyway so yeah, thank heavens for Youtube

I don't pay attention to music. Dad always controlled our television so we watched what he wanted to watch... Mostly westerns, wrestling and, once in a while, a scary movie.

I happened across this video because of Youtube. That sounds so much like my family, Dad controlled the TV whenever he was stateside then when he was stationed overseas mom was in control, at least mom let us choose something we'd want to watch now and again. We didn't get a TV until 1961

@rebelann One of my oldest brothers bought our first television about the time I was born in 1963. Then, around 1969, dad won a color console television from a shoe shop that we patronized. Mom and I were usually reading in the living room while everyone else watched television. It made dad mad when we'd watch television part of the time and read our books part of the time. Dad always claimed we couldn't do both at the same time. (Mom told me to ignore dad since we obviously could keep up with both at the same time.)

That's certainly a great rendition of it. My Dad loved westerns too and we watched whatever came along.

Sounds like a great mix of childhood memories and classic cinema! Westerns and Bond—your dad had good taste. That orchestra must have really nailed it if it left such an impression. I’d love to check it out!

Kinda, I don't like westerns or bond so going to drive ins wasn't much fun for me. Were you able to watch the video?
