A sailboat that is 34 feet long that has been in the Jersey Shore for a period of two months is being called by locals 'Heavy Traffic" since the boat has been on the sand in Brigantine New Jersey has attracted residents to look at the sailboat.
Brigantine Mayor Vince Sera mentioned that the owner of the boat is a student in Massachusetts who does not have the financial resources without assistance to remove the sailboat away from The Cove beach.
Since the owner of the boat has been told to remove the sailboat from the beach soon, the penalty will be city officials will remove the boat.
Brigantine Police Captain Steven Ward said that the city will hire a contractor to remove the boat if the owner cannot remove the boat soon.
Police in Brigantine believe that the boat was in open water secured near a Coast Guard station in the Absecon Inlet when it broke loose from its moorings.
In my opinion it is rare for an abandoned sailboat to attract a lot of attention from residents and tourists in the first place.

If you own a boat, you need to be responsible for it, or risk losing it like this. A hard lesson for anyone to learn, especially if this guy's boat is confiscated. Perhaps, he will be sent the bill, for its removal, too.

Most likely if the boat ta confiscated by the authorities, the owner will have to pay a bill for the removal of the boat.
