Busy Sunday

I had a busy Sunday today.
I was up really early. I wasn't feeling the greatest, so returned to bed and slept another 2 hours. When I woke I did not feel like cooking a big Sunday brunch, so my husband and I went out to eat.
After we came home I went shopping. I wanted a new pair of running shoes, and found a pair and picked up a really nice set of sheets which were on sale for over $100 off. They are a beautiful, rich mocha colour, and I took them out of the packaging and put them into the laundry basket for later this week.
Tuesday is laundry day, they will get done then.
My husband transferred the pictures from my phone to a file on my computer. I then went through my pictures on the phone and deleted the picture on the phone, also the video clips.
Next week I hope to find some time to go to the Bell World Store and get a new phone. They won't have alot to set up, just transfer what is usually done.
It has been a very productive and busy Sunday.

Hope you're feeling better today.
Your Sunday does sound busy and shopping always makes me feel better. I love sheets and those must be beautiful especially with such a big sale. Mocha sounds pretty.
Glad you found a pair of running shoes (you'll need them to run after the twins 
)

I slept well last night, but today I am not feeling great.
I left ill, my throat and head were hurting too much to concentrate.
I have some chicken balls and vegetable spring rolls in the freezer if my husband wants something easy to air fry for supper tonight. I'll be having chicken soup.

I blame this on taking a daytime cold pill. They are great for days when you cannot sleep it off and have to power through the day, but today I can sleep it off and let it run its course.
On the upside, I finished 2 loads of laundry and have a small one finishing up, it sounds like it is in the spin cycle.
I also went online to 'dream'. We want to take the train out east after I retire. I was checking the stops and accommodations and perks of the sleeper car which we would take from Montreal to the Eastern Provinces. It made me excited to think about, to the point where I want to work as much as I can so that I can save and enjoy that trip. This has been on my bucket list since my 30's and I think that I have brain-washed my husband into adding it to his list.

That sounds like a really good day. I forgot today was Sunday, and for the first two hours of the day operated as if it was Saturday. This involved calling my dad during church. Luckily, he had remembered to turn his phone off. I got a very confused call back two hours later.

Productive is a good thing. I have felt drained all day. I have tried to be proactive, but not sure if I was successful.

I am sorry that you don't feel well today, I began my day like that.
I ended up getting alot done, but it wasn't stand up work, I was able to sit down for it.
I did manage to put on a really good supper, homemade mac and cheese, creamy mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables steamed and a small baked ham.

Thanks, I get off from work early on Tuesday so I may go and try to see if I can find a phone.
Cellphone shopping ranks pretty low on my list of priorities, my current phone I have had since July 2020.
That is pretty old by tech standards, I probably will need a little crash course on how to use the new one.

Yes, those sheets are so nice, there are hardly words to describe them.
Even my husband asked to feel them when he saw me taking them out of the package.
I have been planning on getting a new phone this spring, I dislike learning a new phone or even shopping for one, but it has to be done. My current phone is going to be 5 years old this July, so alot of new phones since then and I will have alot of learning to do.

Thank you, I was also.
I had pains in my head on Sunday, which I wondered at the time what they were from, but on Monday I started feeling the effects of a cold, and now I know what those pains were from.
I finished all of the laundry and got it all put away today.

I am glad you are happy with your Sunday and the new sheets sound nice. My Sunday wasn't terribly productive, but I have managed to stay busy which is something. I typically don't like Sundays, the most boring day of the week

I never do alot on Sundays, but today I did.
As well, I cooked a nice supper.
The girls have been sick and not eating right, but they love my mashed potatoes, which I boil in chicken broth. The leftovers should fill their tummies for lunches and then help those lingering sore throats that seem to bother them in the afternoons.
