This is a popular dish offered by a Japanese Ramen restaurant. It has a spicy flavorful pork-based broth. The level of spiciness according to the restaurant is 8-9 out of 10. I don't think I can go over beyond 4-5 level of spiciness. This is their spiciest ramen they offer. Of course, I did not order that but it is my husband's favorite. They offer non-spicy ramen as well. What is your level of spiciness?

My level of spiciness is probably medium. I don't enjoy food that is too spicy. I was just watching a cooking competition show yesterday and they were making ramen dishes.

Lately, I’ve developed a liking for ramen, especially as it has become more popular in many Japanese restaurants. However, I’m not particularly fond of the spicy varieties. While I can tolerate mildly spiced ramen, anything too hot is not really to my taste. Whenever we have the opportunity to dine at a Japanese restaurant, I usually go for a bowl of ramen instead of the typical rice bowls they offer. There's something about the depth of flavor in a well-made ramen broth that makes it so satisfying. If the ramen comes from an authentic Japanese restaurant, just one bowl is enough to fill me up. The combination of rich, umami-packed broth, tender noodles, and perfectly balanced toppings makes for a complete and hearty meal. It’s become my go-to comfort food whenever I get the chance to enjoy Japanese cuisine.

@rakski Same here! I can handle a bit of spice, but I definitely prefer the non-spicy ones. They’re much easier to enjoy, and I find them more satisfying and flavorful without the extra heat.

I can't have very spicy foods anymore. I used to like eating jalapenos filled with a mild cheese but those hurt me if I eat them now.

@rakski Thanks. When I had rectal cancer, it changed something in my system and spicy, hot foods burn when I use the bathroom now.

My level of spiciness is quite low - probably very low by some people's standards.
