My trial today for the new job

My trial today for the new job was certainly interesting. I don’t expect 2 days to be the same anymore. I was only out of the house for 3.5 hours, but I was just having a taster of what the job is about, and I expect increase my workload and therefore hours in the coming days and weeks. My first job was to collect the parcels from the depot, I had to plan how I loaded the car, as I wanted to make sure I could easily find them once I got on my route. This was a piece of cake. My first delivery was the most interesting. It was at a dreaded gated property. Electric gates. I managed to contact the resident to open the gate, but once I had taken a picture of the item on their doorstep I found myself locked in as the gate had closed. I ended up having to climb over a wall to get out of the property, which wasn’t what I expected. The rest of my round was pleasant enough, meeting lots of new and different people. I hope I enjoy this job going forward.
