There are a few things I really enjoy doing, that I really don't have time to do much since I work a full time job...but not much longer, as I will be retiring in August.
One of my hobbies would be photography...I enjoy taking pics of my grandchildren most of all and then a 2nd close would be nature. I did a photoshoot with them at Christmas time, and they really enjoyed it.
Gardening would be another hobby that I enjoy doing, I guess you could consider it a hobby. I like germinating seeds and then watching them grow. I prefer edible/medicinal type, but do have some just for their beauty.
Another one would be crafts...I enjoy being creative. I currently don't have any projects going at this time. I have been buying supplies when I see something that I want, so I have something to do when I have more time.
So please share what hobby you have...

Oh sure. I have a few of them. I like writing blogs and articles and the occasional fiction piece. I enjoy playing my guitar, writing music and recording covers and original songs. I enjoy camping, although camping might not technically be a hobby. I am never bored, let's put it that way.

It does sound like that you have enough to keep busy and not be bored.

@porwest My grandkids use that word often...and since they live across the drive, and I will tell them if you are bored, go home! LOL

I've crocheted each of my grandchildren a baby blanket. Perhaps when I retire I can crochet them a bigger one. My husband and I like doing jigsaw puzzles with his mom, we just finished a unique one.

@terri0824 My sister does a lot of jigsaw puzzles too. Some are huge and quite complicated.

I used to love to paint pottery. We have a place nearby that you buy their pottery, and then paint them with anything you want. They have stencils, and a couple times I used lace that had a gorgeous effect on the plate. Of course, I’ve always loved reading too.

I bet that using the lace made it really unique and pretty.

I like doing paint by number. I am also, a bit of a film buff. I enjoy plants vegetables and flowers, but they are kind of hard to grow here with the insect and critter populations. We frequently have too much sun and rain too

@terri0824 I have a couple of paintings here that were done like that. They are pretty good, although I wasn't the one who painted them

Not sure if I could call them hobbies.
Reading would be first on the list. I love to cook and to try making new dishes when I can. I love to sew and also to make blankets and quilts for our crisis nursery and I have made many for Project Linus and Fleece and Thank You. A few years ago I discovered that many assisted living and nursing home patients don’t have anyone at all and never get gifts, so most of the ones I make now I’ve taken to those places.

That's awesome of you to make them for the ones in need. You are right, sadly ones in assisted living and nursing homes don't have any loved ones visiting them.

It really is so sad. They are so hungry for company and attention. And so, so appreciative.
