for you my dear

You are a genuine sweetie, Ms. @AmbiePam. Thank you for being you. I did. I went MIA. Saturday afternoon a friend drove over and managed a total miracle: genuine miracle. She talked me into first going to the Walk In- "go to ER. Can't help you." That began an afternoon of Alice without the Wonderland, And evening. Up until 2:30 AM. I was wheeled down the hallways to have a scan done on my leg. Back to wait for help. Back to hearing the clanking of the doors as EMTs rolled in another gurney. Finally the decisions: blood draws. I held onto friend as the first one proceeded the the second and oh yippee, the third. Sweet people trying to be kind. I tried not to jerk. Friend chattered, distracted me. And then the friendly woman doctor. Motherly. I could either go home with antibiotic pills OR the preferred method: intravenously through a needled portal. Oh God and grape jelly. I grabbed friend and hugged her. Mom Doc almost clapped her hands- she wanted me to be flooded with antibiotics. I was and am grateful my veins weren't blocked. So that is where I have been: in the hospital, from Saturday night until is this? Tuesday afternoon. All the nurses were sweet. I asked for pen and paper and not long after the request, the nurse brought me some and a clipboard for solid surface. I am not cured-not like a ham! I will continue to take pills. And get some rest. But it is warming finally. It is pansy planting time. So dearest Amber: that is where I fell off the cliff to.

@AmbiePam Thank you for your light. You would have loved the young lady blood taker. Whoa on the flowing rainbow hair! She looked like a human My Little Pony. She was very gentle. Every morning I had to undergo another blood draw.

@sallypup She sounds like a great “cheerer upper”. I am glad she made the blood draw a little less bad.

I´m so glad that you are being helped, dear. So many times we put off help. But mmiracles do happen. Not always but sometimes. Iam happy this is working. Soon you´ll be planting pansies.

@sallypup You're very welcome. I hope they figure out what is wrong and help you with it... And hope it's not too expensive by the time they're done.
