Will You Be Fooled, or Will You Do the Fooling?

When it comes to April Fool's Day, I don't always have a prank lined up and ready to go, and sometimes I do get fooled, although nothing readily comes to mind. Right now I have no plans to prank anyone, although I am always game for a good one if the right one comes along. Have you ever been pranked? What happened? Or have you done a good prank on someone else? I'd love to know. What do you think of April Fool's Day pranks overall? I guess if they are done in fun, and no one gets hurt they are okay in my book. Any plans to pull any pranks this year? Enquiring minds want to know.

No plan to prank anyone. If I am pranked, as long as it doesn't hurt, I'll just give it a laugh.

I tend to think April Fool's loses some of its bite considering I am more on the lookout for strange things. lol

I love April Fools pranks, and every year I say ahead of time that I am going to plan an epic prank on someone, and then I usually forget about it until the last minute and then don't have time to actually pull it off. This year, I want to get my entire crew at work to show up, clock in, and then go hide in the break room and then each of us call the boss and and say we're sick and can't make it to work. And then sit in the breakroom and wait to see the boss start sweating when she doesn't see any of us back in Receiving doing our jobs.

Careful that you don't get yourself in hot water there! You probably need your job. That would be hilarious for all of you, but maybe not for him.

@akalinus I don't think we'd be in any hot water. Our boss is amazing, and she is one who would love a good prank, even if it's one played on her. She'd be a good sport about it, but would plan her revenge (playing a prank back on us later).

@LindaOHio I can imagine it HAS been a VERY trying time for you for so many reasons. Things will get better, though. I am sure of it. Time has a way of healing all wounds, so they say.

The eagle in the picture looks determined to get answers -one way or another. I haven't given it much thought yet.

I once sent a blank piece of paper folded like a card to my brother for his birthday, which happens to be the first of April...

I love to talk and tease people but pranks aren't my thing and I can get mad if someone tries to pull a prank on me. It's better to just avoid that kind of thing, in my opinion. I usually just walk away.

It depends on the prank. If it's mean spirited, I'm less onboard with it.

I usually do not pull pranks. I am not a confrontational type person. That is a story for another day. My brothers did hilarious things at times.

I will write about a prank my brother pulled once. It was hilarious and worthy of writing about. I will wait a couple of days. I remembered It when I was reading another post.

Probably. I will say, although I can't remember any offhand, they were always in good taste and harmless, and I do remember laughing at most of them.

We mostly forget about it till later in the day and I think prank-time is supposed to finish at midday. I'd really like to contribute more but I can't remember being pranked or being party to a good one. Like you, I don't mind pranks as long as no-one gets hurt.

As a middle school student I was fooled by some of my classmates. I would often forget the date. I remember a friend who came and told me the principal was calling me. I went,to the principal's office and he told me I was fooled.
