Well our trip to what George calls the DMV (and should be, because they do literally everything there), but is offically called the tax colloctr's offic, we were able to get our tag. Apparently, it was never mailed, and lost in transit. George and I never found it because we were right, it never came. We're going to go back to in-person renewls. No if ands or buts about it. Them and the mail aren't reliable. And, I won't pretend otherwise.I thought I'd be helpful, and order it online and have it delivered, but I now know I was right. In-persn is better.
George has the radio and his shake, and pepsi. He's going to hang out outside for a while.
I really need to find batteries for the radio, though.

I'm just thankful I had the sense to pay for the tag in the first place. I might've been a few days late, but not enough to incour late fees.

I don't like doing things by mail, either. I only did it because I was trying to keep everything up-to-date.

Don't know if we need them. And then when we do, we'll have to see if someone will come and install it for us because I don't know if I could lift it in or out.

Live & learn is my motto, if the DMV mails stuff to you that's 1 thing
but doing that online is something that should never be trusted.

The dmv does offer the option after all, and that's what I have to work with. When we needed to renew, I was not sure if George was in the shape to do it in-person. I couldn't (and still won't) leave him alone. Not until he's more confident.

But I would have called them & explained the situation
& they would have been able to help you with it for
a later date to come in or done something else.
